Spander: Xan has unusual luck

I remember random details and I'm fairly sure all of these bits belong to the same story...


Xander has some sort of unusual luck, he can influence events but he isn't consciously doing it
In a conversation between Spike and Angel they used the phrase "the push"

Spike was treasure hunting in a crypt
he had Tara or Willow check all the treasure/jewelry for spells, one ring had gone under the couch/chair and didn't get checked

Spike and Xander have dinner out, the restaurant is vaguely oriental
A waitress offers her throat - the hostess says never offer when a consort/mate is present
The owner is a very old dragon type demon
Spike takes Xander back to meet the owner but Xander doesn't remember the meeting because the dragon put him in some sort of trance
There is an elegant knife Xan uses to let Spike drink

There is a search for a weapon that's needed to defeat this week's big evil, I think it had Red in the name
It turns out to be a short spear that has to be used by someone special and Spike is afraid it will end up being Xander (no clue if it ended up being him or someone else)
