Desperately Seeking Spander

Hi, ya'll! It's been a while since I've read in this fandom so I figured this is a good place to start looking for the kind of fic I love to read. First of all I should tell you that I prefer first time, completed stories (or stories that are updated regularly) with some smut mixed in with the plot. I can't stand abandoned WIPs, infidelity between Spike and Xander, permanent major character death (meaning the boys and anyone they're especially close to in the fic), permanent injury (not including Xander's eye thing although I prefer him with two peepers), watersports, scat, non-con or dub-con between the boys, and any genderbending or changing or whatever. I also don't like dark fic and/or unhappy endings. Oh, and I prefer my Spike pre-soul, or at least not totally weird like when he got it on the show.

As for what I do like ... Well, I love long stories with powerful characters. I love it when Xander becomes something more in fic. I like action and adventure and I'm a huge fan of humor. Romance is obviously something I go for as well. I like stories set before season 6 but if it's good I'll give it a whirl. Cliches are love! Oh, and short stories are cool too if they're really good.
